a half coat of paint.

You’ve heard that the quickest way to give something a new look is a fresh coat of paint. How about a half coat of paint? This little cabinet was from our flower shop and was just sitting in Greta’s closet. It was purple and tired looking, now it is lovely! This is so easy to do. The technique is called dry brushing. You simply dip your paint brush lightly into the paint and use a piece of cardboard to remove some of the paint (paint a few strokes on the cardboard) before you actually paint on the surface. The result, a brand new- rustic finish.
