Hello! I found blog on Owen’s site. I am 30wk pregnant and my baby was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at 18wks. I have read your story and your words are very encouraging. My husband and I are both Christians and know that our baby was created just as he is just for us for a reason…we are just constantly praying our hearts to catch up with our minds! 🙂 I am curious to know, if you want to share, if you did or even considered a cord blood transfusion for MIles. I saw the information on Owen’s site. We are struggling with the decision. Thank you again for sharing your story. Allison

Allison-
Trust me when I say the waiting is really the worst part and once your baby is born it will be SO much easier because you will be able to DO something to help him! Unfortunately, we were not given the option of doing a cord blood transfusion, but if it had been available, or if we had had the means to travel and have it done- we would have in a heart beat. If it doesn’t work- that’s one thing, but if it DOES! It is definitely worth it. If you do it, you will not have any regrets! Please let me know if you have any other questions, and congratulations on your little boy! He will be here before you know it!
